Prebuilt PC question

Hi everyone 😀 I'm just about to go out and buy my first gaming PC after years of debating it, I've been told it can be better building your own PC but I don't have the time or knowledge for that so thought I'd go for a prebuilt one, after hours of looking I found a PC SPECIALIST prebuilt gaming PC on the Currys/PCworld website, I'm just wondering if anyone has got any experience buying from them before and the PC I like is a Tornado R9

Rysen 9 5900X, RTX 3080, 32gig Ram, 1 TB SSD

for £2,200. I'm also interested in the quality of parts they use in there prebuilt systems. If anyone has any advice would be much appreciated . Thanks

Is there any specific reason you're looking at a Curry's for the pre-built PCS system? You might be able to get a better overall performing system buying direct from PCS?

Ultimately, the PC will be built by PCS to their usual high standard though so in that regard I wouldn't have an issue. I just think if you're going to spend £2.2K it is worth getting the best you can out of the machine :)

PCS will build it and make a profit. Bulk builds for Currys, so it'll be a smaller profit margin I'd expect.
Currys sell it to you, at £cost to them plus profit margin. They will make a decent profit on it I expect.

Alternatively.

You buy direct from PCS. They make a decent profit on it. But there's only 1 profit margin, PCS's.
I expect you could get exactly the same spec computer from PCS for less than from Currys. Leaving more money in your pocket.
Or, you can spend the same on a higher spec computer, more bang for your buck.
There could be a bit of waiting time for a PCS build. Not usually much, about a week I think.
