Tomorrow it might go into testing, unsure, depends on how busy they are. Mine's on the same day, and is in testing. Just depends on where in the queue your order is
Actually today is the 6th working day..... placed order last Tuesday I and I am paying it off over 12 months on finance.

Erm, i used Direct Debit, and i believe it was the 23rd or something? I can't really remember
As far as I know finance will take slightly longer than credit or debit card, just because it takes a bit extra time for PCS to receive all the documentation and stuff to be able to verify payment.
Remember various things can affect the timing, including stuff being out of stock, also desktops take longer than laptops (I don't know if you lot comparing times had laptops or desktops or what
)Are you sure? I have already had a call from finance company saying it had all been approved etc and that was way last week.... but who knows?
Another question, can the status of an order advance a few times in a day? i.e. can it be in testing, quality control all in one day or is there a minimum of 1 day for each?
I am an impatient sod lol.

Yeah mine spent a day in build, went into testing and quality control next day and was ready for dispatch the next morning.

I don't work for PCS, I'm just going on what I figured would be the case Yes it can go through multiple stages in one day. Quality control does take a while though so its unlikely to go completely through all 3 of those stages in the same day

mmm but should nt they tell me if they were out of stock on things and give me a realistic time scale and i think pcs is big enough to keep stuff in stock .

My PC is currently in pre-production on 10th working day :'(. Ordered on 20th July. The wait is DRIVING ME CRAZY! Received an email from PCS informing 2 parts are out of stock, which was good of them, keeping me up to date as usual. I realised I hadn't checked my email today so I go ahead and check. Got an email from PCS I'm thinking GREAT this must be them informing me the parts have arrived...Open the msg 'Thanks for registering at PC Specialist forums', LOOOL FFS! My xbox being on it's last legs for couple months now has finally died (Amazing isn't it! Never heard of anything going wrong with an xbox before o O). The lazer refuses to read discs and I have one game I can play that I downloaded to my hard drive from the XBL marketplace. Laptop i'm on is currently on life support, old, slow, overheats and shuts down when it pleases.
If anyone can tell me when the following parts are likely to be in stock/delivered to PCS, I would GREATLY appreciate it:
-ASUS® P8H67-M LX SI (NEW REV 3.0)
-6 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL (MIN 2 FRONT PORTS) AS STANDARD
In the email it says these parts are out of stock...'Stock is overdue since 00-00-0000'
If anyone can tell me when the following parts are likely to be in stock/delivered to PCS, I would GREATLY appreciate it:
