Hey, just curious how long pc's are usually in pre-production for? I'm on my sixth working day at the moment :p wait is killing me lol

Mines on the 5th working day now.. As the lead times say, it should be less than 7 days before it moves onto the next stage :)

Yeah, hopefully if they have no problems with stock :)

Ps. If you check the status of it less often, it won't seem as long-er wait ;)

Mine was done very quickly, from order to delivery it took 8 working days. Preproduction took about 4 days for me.

Yeah lol, unfortunately it looks like I might need to send it back :(, havin a few problems which I think may be related tot he overclock, btu not being a hardware person myself I am a bit unsure.

Ah yes, read your thread last night, unfortunately, im totally clueless about overclocking.. :( But i hope you get it all sorted :)

mine is on pre production 6th working day aswell. i have order an overclock one i hope i done have any problem like frenchy

As I said though, being a software guy and not a hardware guy, I don't know if this is related to the over clock or not, I have a strong inclination to say it is, but I cant be certain.

i have seen the screen shot it does say overclock failed :( maybe ur pc was a rush job as it did come quickly lol only joking

Yeah but tht screen only came up once, it blue screened without tht other screen well over 15 - 20 times. And it also failed to boot even after resetting bios, however this mornign it booted without a problem. So have no idea tbh.

I know how you feel. My laptop was in preproduction for 8 days. It's arrived today and it's sitting at home. I just wanna go home and play with it!

I believe that message can actually appear whether the machine was overclocked or not, that's if I remember rightly from some support threads some while back*.

* Note: I could be misremembering, or just imagining it

Mines on the 7th working day now, gone from pre-production to in testing all in the 7th day.. :D!
