Pre-order calamity (kinda)

I bought a pc with an asus rtx 3070 2 weeks ago and it didnt have an eta of when its in stock as it said it was in stock but now it says eta august. Does this mean that i could get it before august or until its in stock in august?

It doesn't mean a great deal really - ultimately you're in a queue for the card, you'll be 'ahead' of anyone who joins the queue today.

Unfortunately there could be a fair wait still sadly.

You might be lucky and get it for August. Depending on the situation with the GPU stock, it could be a lot longer.

Like myself and many others who ordered a 3080, it's about the 100 working day mark that our builds are progressing.

They did offer customers with 3080s in the build to downgrade to a 3070 if they wanted the build sooner as they had more in stock last month, but it's hit and miss.

Hope you're not waiting to long for it.
