Everything has been working fine. I upgraded to Windows 11 about 3 days ago and updated all the graphics drivers and chipset etc. Everything fine.
I turn on my machine today and there is a strange kind of pixelation to the computer image. It isn't as obvious on bright images but you can see it on a dark screen and dark parts of the screen. I used a 4K TV via HDMI as a monitor and the images are fine other than the PC. It shows on the PCS boot screen also so I'm guessing its not a Windows issues.

Here is a link to a couple of photos I tool while getting the computer to restart. Not the best but I think it gives you an idea.

If anyone can help I would be most greatful

I turned it on today and it was back to normal. I’m not sure if that is worse. My PC is still under warranty for a couple of months. It would be just my luck to break just out of warranty!

Did you do an inplace upgrade to 11 or a clean install?

Just out of interest, have you played Amazon's "New World" game at all?

The fact it's happening in the boot up screen would suggest a hardware issue, the fact it corrected itself could be due to it only being triggered when the card gets to higher temps, it's possible there's a bit of the circuit board tracing that's cracked, or a broken solder joint somewhere.

I think Nvidia drivers have isolated that issue but it's definitely still worth considering.

Thank you everyone for your help. So far it hasn’t happened again. I did a upgrade of windows rather than a fresh install.

To be fair it was a few days using it since the upgrade before this happened but thought it was still worth mentioning.

As you say hopefully it was a one off but looks like it might be worth mentioning to PCS just in case .
