Hi All,

I'm looking to pass on my current 2016 Recoil laptop to one of my Sons and so upgrading for myself. I mostly play strategy games, football manager, Cities, Banished but also the occasional Resident Evil type game.
I would want to spend around 1400 max ideally.

Does this set up look good and are there any obvious changes I could make to either save money or improve performance please?

Looks good apart from the RAM. I would get 16GB of the faster ones plus the £5 silver warranty. The below is £27 over but you could save cash by choosing the m2 ADATA(slightly slower) which would bring the build down to £1380.
