That is interesting.... when I spoke with the sales team they said I would have to order a minimum of three RX120 fans - I couldn't have just one. That was pre-order mind so I might contact them again given I am no 53 in the 50 series queue (so will probably be getting my PC circa 2029) so plenty of time to make swaps.Rang them up and asked if it was possible to amend the order to include 1x Corsair ICUE LINK RX120 RGB in place of the PCS one to which they did. Top notch service from them considering they only sell those in packs of three or more.
I did also apologise for my egregious oversight and the fact the technician will need to refit and cable manage again! 🤣
I hope they sort it for you! Maybe they can use the now remaining two fans from the pack of three they used for meThat is interesting.... when I spoke with the sales team they said I would have to order a minimum of three RX120 fans - I couldn't have just one. What GPU are you ordering, as GPU's will normally come with a sag bracket if one is required for that model?Good morning! I am thinking of getting a GPU bracket to prevent sag. I don't mind the PCS one, but I've seen a nice one from Corsair which gives me the option of adding the LC100 lighting panels and controlling them via iCUE in the future.
I am wondering if any of you guys have used/have experience with the GPU Anti-Sag Bracket - Black from Corsair? Based on my PC picture I think there would be a gap between the PSU 'shelf' and my GPU (see attached). I think it appears you can likely screw it into the PCIe back plates higher up? Though it would seem their intention is to use the shelf as the base.
I quick Google or search on YouTube only showed it being used from the PSU shelf.
Any of you guys got one or seen one used in that way?
I didn't order one via PCS as I have a NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5080 FE 16GB ready to install once I get my PC. It didn't come with a bracket because NVIDIA 🙃What GPU are you ordering, as GPU's will normally come with a sag bracket if one is required for that model?
Ah, ok, so I think it would take up the 3rd slot on the rear case up from the bottom for that bracket, there's plenty of room.I didn't order one via PCS as I have a NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5080 FE 16GB ready to install once I get my PC. It didn't come with a bracket because NVIDIA 🙃
Good suggestionIf they don't sort it, as I mentioned, just ask them not to put the rear one in. You can then either leave it out entirely (gaming cases these days don't generally need a rear fan....it's either for aesthetics or it's more for people like me who have an absolute need for one out of habit as a PC without an exhaust fan looks wrong) or buy it yourself and fit (it's relatively simple to do)
Big respect for the Funko Pops! No system is complete without them!Evening folks! My build arrived yesterday and managed to finish setup of the PC and my desk today. I thought I'd shareOnce again, many thanks for your help and advice, fantastic community here. It was definitely greatly appreciated ❤️
Had a little trouble with my GPU, sadly it turned out the cable they routed ready for it wasn't fully seated in the PSU. Meaning I had to undo some of their lovely cable management to get to it properly. In addition, the BIOS was fairly out of date too (considering the release date of the most recent updates and when it was built). However, both issues didn't take too long to sort. A little disappointing given their customer service generally has been fantastic.
The first thing I did was to flash the BIOS and update it, then fresh install W11I trust you got permission from PCS to update the BIOS
Point is if you don't ask PCS approval first it invalidates your warrantyThe first thing I did was to flash the BIOS and update it, then fresh install W11
I would do that with any system of mine, pre-build or DIY.
Takemura and Grogu 👍Big respect for the Funko Pops! No system is complete without them!
You could suspend them using some transparent twineTakemura and Grogu 👍
I did buy a larger case partly so I could fit more of my Funkos…but the bottom fans means there‘s nowhere to put them 😖
It’d ruin the airflowYou could suspend them using some transparent twine
I think this policy is ridiculous. Part of keeping a PC running well and ensuring ongoing compatibility with drivers etc is keeping the BIOS up to data as well as Windows.Point is if you don't ask PCS approval first it invalidates your warranty
And no one is disputing that. But I think you're misinterpreting what that means, it doesn't mean you can't flash a BIOS update.I think this policy is ridiculous. Part of keeping a PC running well and ensuring ongoing compatibility with drivers etc is keeping the BIOS up to data as well as Windows.
Section 7.9 clearly states this.I think this policy is ridiculous. Part of keeping a PC running well and ensuring ongoing compatibility with drivers etc is keeping the BIOS up to data as well as Windows.
