One last question.

Which wireless card is best out of the ones available? The desktop will be upstairs and will need to be wireless to connect to the router downstairs.

Thanks.

Have you thought about Homeplugs as an alternative to wireless? Typically I was a wireless defender but after using homeplugs I'd agree you do get a stronger connection (you need to get two homeplugs for it to work, one goes near your router and the second near your PC) it allows you to essentailly have a wired connection to your PC.

However, if you wanted to go wireless, imo its the router thats most important :) If you have a dual-band capable router then get a dual-band network card etc. No point in getting a wireless card that outstrips your router :)

I would like to add, I don't think wireless connections are bad, its just sometimes harder to get a good one (ie you need a strong network card AND strong wireless router).

It depends on your router, whether you choose the 150 or 300Mpbs PCI-E card, homeplugs could be a better option.
Homeplugs are basically a wired ethernet connection through your domestic wiring, plug one homeplug in to a wall socket next to your router then connect an ethernet cable from the homeplug to your router, plug the other homeplug to a wall socket next to your PC & connect an ethernet cable from that to your PC.Very useful if it's going to be problematic connecting directly with an ethernet cable.
On the subject of noise, while the AMD stock cooler would be fine for your CPU,the AMD FX processors are supplied with them and are designed for them, the triple copper heat pipe cooler would be a bit less noisy,if that's important to you.

Thanks.

Will leave the wireless and go for the triple copper cooling instead.

Is there any difference between the standard cooler and the copper one?

I was told by a PCS guy that the standard AMD coolers are supplied and designed for the AMD FX processors ,but if a quieter processor is preferred,to go for the Triple copper heat pipe cooler.Just how much difference in noise there is,I really couldn't say.

I've played FM sine FM09 up until the latest one.

I would say going for more RAM will help you play FM easier as it's a CPU/RAM intensive game, so if you can stretch to 8GB I would suggest it, also maybe get the 500GB Caviar Black instead of the bog-standard one.

It arrived.

Really impressed so far. I ran speccy to see what was actually inside my PC. I am confused by the graphics card.

Is the HD7850? I ordered?

Windows is asking me to activate it. I don't have a key however. It was not provided with the Windows 8 disc. What shall I do?
