yeh got the the c++ shizz, just googled that error and apparently its .net framework related, which seems strange considering other programs that use it work fine (curse client for example) and i'm pretty sure i've already installed the latest version of the .net framework

yeah tried dl'ing the latest version of gfwl aswell, didnt work =[

Hmm, did installing the correct .NET Framework not help? :-/

going to try it again but not to my knowledge, i had v4 installed already

nope - reinstalled .net 4, uninstalled and then reinstalled gfwl, still broken =[

edit: just got off the phone with a guy called matthew, helpful as usual, reccommends i try a clean windows install before trying other stuff so will do that tonight

edit 2: was a windows issue, a clean install has sorted it out, god knows what caused it =/
