If I’d been more prescient I’d have stored them away and not worn them everywhere for years, until they wore out and faded.

About the only piece of clothing I have remaining from the early 90s is a £600 Emporio Armani cardigan I bought with my first month’s ‘big’ pay packet when I started freelancing/contracting. The ‘chocolate’ jeans I bought at the same time ‘passed away’ a few years back…but the were worn a lot more than the really heavy cardigan.

I’m not that vain anymore, and I don’t go much above Levi 501/Armani/Boss jeans.

Full disclosure, I have just got home from our staff summer party. Me and the senior partner demolished a bottle of Lagavulin together and there were also many pints of Peroni involved. I will leave the unboxing until tomorrow as now is clearly not a sensible option.
