I think theyve all given it away free at one time or another in the past, but just wanted to let people know its worth picking it up.
It’s still a showcase game for what’s possible with high end ray tracing as well as being a very quirky and surreal storyline, absolutely worth it for anyone who hasn’t already got it

great game! Have it on Steam, enjoyed v much. Has big lobbies, realistic ww2 shooter type.

P.S. if you have the SteelSeriesGG app they're giving away the Red Steel DLC for it (but the key might be for Steam only I'm not sure)
Thanks for the information, however I don't play online/competitive games because I have a terrible network at home and, more importantly, I don't like them. I am sure someone else will take your advice anyway. :)

A game I've always had my eye on, but given the sheer scale of it, never gone near as I would literally get lost in it!

A while back, I read about a guy who didn't stock up enough fuel travelling the galaxy and ended up stranded in the arse-end of nowhere. He was left sending out mayday calls until a rescue mission could be organised. They gave him enough fuel to travel to the nearest planet to restock properly. He was 141 light years out of the way!

A game that uses maps of our galaxy as a basis of the game's galaxy is an awesome idea, but that story is a lesson in resource management that I never take on board when gaming!

That's mental!!!

Do you reckon he was so into the game that he revelled in those 3 months dead in space? :ROFLMAO:

I find that really funny, I can totally get being that lost in a game. With the original Final Fantasy 7 on PS1, I got lost in the desert for months, literally months, just fighting randomly generated skirmishes and doing the odd mini game that cropped up. I didn't regret a second of it either, loved every minute!

Apparently when I was very little, I'd line up toy trains in a row, move the first one forward a bit, then move the second one behind it, and just continue along to the end train. Then I'd move the first one forward a bit more, and so on and so on.

There's definitely something not right with me.

The fact that he was all the way out there for 3 months and it still took a few weeks for the rescuers to actually reach him is just insane to me. And the player was only 140-odd light years away from the main areas that players usually stick to. Makes you realise just how mindboggingly big the galaxy is. And we're just one galaxy out there...

I'm sure he revelled in the first few days he was dead in space. Then it probably sunk in just how far away any rescue mission would be.

Nope, definitely something not right with you, but I love the story! 🤣🤣
