PC Game Deals!

There's a few on this thread who are really hot on deals - within minutes of them being announced, the deals are in this thread, so we were well aware of Alien Isolation being free. You've picked a good thread to get involved in! :)

On that note, the Total War: Rome Remastered came out today and is still 50% off for those who own the original - reviews are not looking great at the moment, so I made the right choice not to pre-order!
Sorry, was just pointing out it was expiring today

by the looks of it, it was always free, yesterday it was also marked as free
So on slightly closer inspection, it appears that the game itself is (and has been for ages) free-to-play and what you're getting as the freebie is $100 worth of add-on and extras.

I'm not too excited about this one, to be honest.

It's a free to play game - it's essentially a Dungeons & Dragons themed idle/dungeon crawler kinda game. I used to have it running in the background, but not sure it was worth it, even as a free to play game! :ROFLMAO:

As proof of the "effort" I put into leaving the game running in the background...

Steam have a Golden Week sale on, celebrating all things Japanese. There’s an absolute plethora of deals, there’s something for everyone.

I have picked up the delightful Katamari Damacy REROLL for just over a fiver! 👍
That opening sequence to Katamari Damacy...I've never done any mind-altering drugs, but having watched the opening sequence, I don't think I need to, as the effect is much the same! :ROFLMAO:

Doom (2016) - 50% off - £7.49

and

Doom Eternal Deluxe Edition - 67% off - £24.74

Sorely tempted to get these, but I still need to free up 100GB from my games drive if I'm going to get Mass Effect next week, so I may give Doom a miss until the next sale when maybe I'll have some more space then!

I can't believe Mass Effect is next week! I'm totally not prepared, need to book a month off work!

You have to get those games when you're able to, they're awesome!

I can afford to get those games right now, it's just given my stupidly big library/backlog, I won't buy games now unless I'm planning to install them there and then, and since I need to complete and delete Control (40-odd Gb) and something else of a similar size just to install Mass Effect in the next couple of weeks, adding Doom to the list would be crazy!

I've never heard that excess could be a bad thing?
