Cant do those type of games... Mrs bought me one for xmas (cant remember the title, didnt own for that long) and within 30 seconds I had some lunatic chasing me with a chainsaw. Screamed like a little girl and binned it!

As an indie gamer, I regularly download a lot of games less than 1Gb. That's one level of a game. Peace, Death! is an entire game for 89Mb!

That was quite fun. I wasn't aware of the original game, so that was my first ever Golden Axe experience. I'd definitely be up for a bit more of that if it was at a reasonable price.
The original is a stone cold 16 bit classic! Great soundtrack too 👍

I saw it came out in 1989, I started gaming on an Atari 2600 Jr and the Game Boy in 1990 at the age of 5.
I guess I'm going to have to go dig out a Mega Drive emulator and Golden Axe rom at some point to see for myself!
The Sega Mega Drive Classics collection is on Steam sale, 58 games for £5.85, I may have just bought it so I can play Golden Axe again 😁👍

I have more than 2000 games in my Steam library. It didn't get that way by buying single games when there's collections on offer. I once bought the Eidos collection - 50-odd games for £50 - I only wanted the original Tomb Raider games, but ended up with the Thief games, Legacy of Kain games and so so much more!

Amazing! Was Soul Reaver part of that collection? I ruddy loved that game.

Yep - was an incredible deal. Square Enix seemed to have pulled that collection now though. Soul Reaver worked well on Windows 7 when I bought the collection, but seemingly doesn't work on Windows 10.
