What software packages do you use and at what resolution?

What's your max budget?

Max budget probably around £2000.
I use software such as Premiere Pro, Unity, Ffmod, Reaper, Ableton, prosessing, Supercollider will probably use steam as well just for some gaming.

And what screen do you use? What resolution and refresh or make and model if you’re unsure?

I can tell you one thing for sure. You will need 16GB RAM +++ for video editing.
Also people seem to always try to save on the PSU which is such an important component. Go for RMx PSU, not a huge £ difference.

I've added a screen in the specs since I used macs at university before. Currently I just have an Asus laptop which at 1080 resolution. This is my first proper desktop in a while since I had them at uni. Thanks
