Hi! I'll keep this short and sweet.

Console gamer switching to pc, would like ray trace. Never experienced anything above 60fps :'(
Video editing + audio editing.
Pc must be as quiet hopefully
Upgradable, but probably not any time soon.
Plan on having 2 monitors but starting with one. Want a 4k monitor with hdmi 2.1(but maybe not necessary for first monitor.
Last point: I want it to be good but I don't want to overspend out of ignorance. Buy a ferrari for a job a regular car can do.

Edit: likely getting electriQ 32" IPS 4K 144Hz Gaming Monitor for around £450

Also plan on cannibalising my laptop ssd if possible so might not need extra storage for now. Also would like to add a capture card down the line but that can wait.

Can you post the configuration link from the bottom of the spec, and what is the budget

Godlike
The 4070ti is definitely a 4k card. It’ll smash out 120fps+ on competitive titles like your Warzone, Rocket League, and perform fine in modern titles where you might want to turn up the graphics and not be as worried about the frame rate. It’s 10-15% faster than the 3080 10GB in the majority of titles, and as it’s priced proportionately it’s a good pick if you have the budget and you have the monitor.

More generally around the build, is gaming your primary focus or are you looking at a video/audio editing machine with gaming on the side? I completely respect not wanting to go overkill on parts, but please could you let us know an upper budget limit you don’t want to exceed, as it makes it much easier for us to work towards.

Hi,
My budget is £2000 plus/minus £200. My current configuration is at a little under £2200.

Both gaming and video editing. I would like it to be capable of doing both reasonably well.

My friend says it looks like "a lot of machine" meaning it's maybe more powerful than I need. I game on PS5 so maybe I'd still be impressed with a less powerful graphic card. I also care more about experiencing higher fps than 4k graphics.

Thanks
