This is a great setup the only things I would change would be the CPU to the ryzen 7 5800x or the ryzen 9 5900x because they have a lot better performance. It would also be good to know what your budget is.

Budget is €2600. Are AMD CPUs better overall?

Yes.

Ref your build, it really depends what you are using it for, monitor it is paired with or you plan to pair with.

for example 32GB memory is overkill, unless playing MSFS 2020 or you need it for specific applications.

your cooling I would change to Corsair 115i plat or pro xt.

I would upgrade the PSU to 850w

oh and Silver warranty.

it’s best if you include the link to your build.

Haven't decided on monitor yet, most likely be getting a 4K one anyway.

This better?

Gaming but not MSFS. Not needed for work. Want it to be good enough for a few years so might be overkill with the specs. Also want it to be able to manage streaming without issues.

Thought 4K would be best but looking into it more now and seeing benefits of 1440p.

This spec is pretty luxurious and would pair up nicely with an ultrawide 1440p 144Hz monitor (I’ll link the one I’ve got at the bottom). I’ve done it in £ but it comes to €2,520...

The main reason for going AMD over Intel are in link below.

Aditionally, the current Intel CPU’s are being replaced in March by an interim CPU.

The current Intel offering are not PCIe 4.0.

also @AgentCooper has kindly put system in place.

it’s all about getting best bang for buck.

Remember to think about keyboard and mouse as well, crazy having a great system and Tesco special peripherals

Thanks @AgentCooper I'll look into this configuration. And thanks @Gavras for the info. Never knew all that about intel.

The budget I've set is for the system itself knowing I'll need more for the extras. Won't just be getting the cheapest things I see.
