@jonnie51. You're not being rude or argumentative at all. I just found it quite easy to find videos of people playing Rust on a 5800X + 3060 Ti at Ultra settings and the fps counter was 100+. I dont' play it myself.
Nonetheless, you have to be very careful with info on the internet. Based on much of what you find on Reddit etc, you'd think 3080 Ti is the minimum GPU to play at 1440p!
Nvidia's product stack has the 3060 Ti as the "go to" 1440p card. The 3070 is the high-end 1440p, low end 4K card. Of course, there are a few games that eat GPUs and CPUs for breakfast but most don't. With a 3060 Ti you have something comparable to a 2080 Super, which puts you well into the top tier in terms of GPU performance across the current gaming community. If the 3060 Ti can't do the job at 1440p then a games developer would find their addressable market very small.

They're all very good. All GPUs (of the same model) contain the same chip, it's just the cooler and board layout is different. So performance is very much the same across all manufacturers.
But all the cards PCS stock are good quality cards.

I ended up ordering the dell 1440P monitor suggested got it for just under £200 with a voucher code
I removed the bull guard & upgraded the warranty
They told me they would remove the pre applied paste on the Corsair cooler anyway so left that as it was.

Yes, they only do that if you order the upgraded paste, but the point is the corsair paste is better quality than the enhanced paste PCS use, it's also a better application.

That's not correct. They charge for the upgraded paste, because a) it costs money, and b) takes time to apply.
If you don't order the upgraded paste, they're not getting that money off you so why would they still take the time to remove already applied high quality paste, and put on their own for free?
I guess they wanted to keep the £9, i will give them another call on Monday!
