what will i get when my pc arrives
will i have to do a full installation
or will it be windows 10 trial
If you order with no OS then you MUST install your own copy of Windows and activate it with your own license.

There will be a copy of Windows on there that PCS used for testing but we STRONGLY advise not attempting to activate this system. Many of those who have, later run into all sorts of niggly problems.

No OS means install your own. :)

you purchase and install a legal copy of W10 and install and configure it, the instructions below might help

Download a new copy of Windows using the Media Creation Tool to an 8GB (min) USB.
Boot that USB and choose a Custom Install.
Delete all UEFI partitions on the system drive (EFI System, Recovery, MSR Reserved, Primary).
Select the unallocated space that results and click the Next button. The installer will create the correct partitions and install Windows.
Run Windows Update repeatedly, even across reboots, until no more updates are found.
You may need/want to download and install the latest graphics driver from the Nvidia website (they change so regularly the latest version isn't always in the Windows libraries).

not worth the £100 keep your opinions to yourself
You asked for advice and then responded with a question that clearly shows that installing Windows is something you're not comfortable doing. The best advice I can give you therefore is to buy a copy of Windows with your PC.

A legal copy of Windows costs around £100 from anywhere. Cheap keys on eBay et. al. are almost guaranteed to be illegal. Not only will Microsoft catch up with you if you use an illegal key but we will not be able to offer any support for you on here.

Hi Tom, welcome to the forum.

If you need anymore help setting up your PC, or how to do a complete fresh install rather than just an upgrade on a test version of windows that invariably ends up going wrong, make sure to email PCS directly, rather than the moderators, volunteers and other customers here on the forums who dont work for or get paid by PCS.
