Order to undo heat sink screws

Hi all.

I’m about to do a repaste for the first time and can see the screws on both heat sinks (cpu & gpu) are numbered 1 to 4.

Is this the order for when putting the heat sinks on or for when taking them off? Or does it not matter?

I.e if the 1-4 is the order that the screws should be put in, should I be going from 4 to 1 when taking them out?

I normally work backward when undoing them, and forward when doing them up.

But undoing them I don't think is so important, it's more for when applying pressure.

And when doing them up, just do them finger tight initially, then tighten slightly once they're all finger tight, but you don't need to over tighten them at all, just until they bite.
