Opinions on my New Build please!

Hello!

I ordered this build a few days ago, and wanted to ask for any recommendations and advice on this build!
I am mainly using my PC for Gaming as I have a MacBook for music production, my budget is around 1700 but I can extend this by a little bit.

I am also using a 1080p 144hz monitor, upgrading to a 1440p monitor in a few months however.

Hiya, sorry we missed this.

It's a decent build in all, couple of things worth changing:

1/. Drop the thermal paste, the Corsair coolers come pre applied with higher quality paste

2/. Up the PSU to 850W RMx version, it's higher quality to suit the build and gives a little extra head room for upgrades.

3/. Up the warranty to Silver for £5er, increases the return to base postage costs to 1 year from 1 month.

Otherwise, looks good.

Should I also add an extra fan for the rear of the case? however I would like this to be 1 extra corsair fan? is it possible I can do this or would I order it separately?

You can if you want, although with the 3 front fans plus the 2 from the AIO you'll have ample airflow and cooling for your build. Easy enough to buy from Amazon or the Corsair website if you do want to go down that road.

PCS often throw in a basic 3 pin fan as exhaust, even if it's not listed as part of spec.
