it seems to me that with todays young grammar and punctuation is a skill that is way beyond their competence they seem unable to grasp even the basic use of the fullstop or the comma never mind the use of capital letters to ask the poor dears to use a colon or semicolon would be like asking them to fly to the moon which i might add most of them seem to think was faked but i digress given the pitiful state of sentence construction punctuation and grammar these days worrying about the correct use of the possessive apostrophe is of trivial importance although i must comment that in the above image the sign makes perfect sense if goodwyns furniture ltd is owned by four people called sofa chair recliner and bed but i suppose thats unlikely anyway that what i wanted to say so ill stop now
