Hi ALL

Its that time when I need to upgrade the PC. With some deliberation I've opted for a Ryzen build over intel. I could be wrong!

Please can you take the time to look over the build and post your comments were I can improved or change any of the mods. Its purpose is gaming only and I have a budget well.....does it matter as long its supplement the mods I have belong (1600-1700),

eve online but want the option to play others,
i want to upgrade my monitors to 27in from an ASus 24in hdmi, that's something else im looking into at the moment

What about the resolution and refresh rate of your new monitor(s)? What will your budget for the monitors be?

well I want 2 monitors so 500 pounds preferable 4k

While you can buy two 4k monitors for £500 (there are a few £250 ish ones) I'm not sure that's the best choice.

Just checking as I don't really play Eve, does the UI scale properly with 4k?

For 4k gaming in other, demanding games, you would want an RTX 2080 Super at least.

A Ryzen build is sound but there is no real point to the 3700x for gaming at 4k, unless you are streaming. The R5 3600 will give the same performance. Also you can get by with the stock AMD cooler. The SX6000 SSD is cheaper than the 970 Evo, but still decent. The X570 motherboard would be nice, but offers no performance gains over the X470.

Which is just as well because a 2080 Super is very expensive and you need all those savings to afford one:

But even then, your monitor budget is too low. It would be ~£400-500 for a single, decent 4k screen. Even more for a very nice one.
