Even if it were throttling, you could just turn off turbo boost to stop it heating up so much.

There is a price difference of £37 apparently! I have been issued a credit for the difference. I would've liked the all-singing all-dancing CPU even though I had no plans to overclock, the 4ghz lured me in! Oh well, not the worst thing in the world

Depending on your intended use, you may not see a performance difference anyway.

Looks fine there Andy, shame they've changed the chip in fairness as yours seems to be running fine. I'd have rather had the better chip than a £37 refund :(
