Hello, random question........
I have a good/basic Dtop with Nvidia Geoforce 710 1gb Graphics card - graphics/gaming isn't a need so wasn't the priority.
It has an AMD Ryzen 5 2600x chip.
I flit between Windows 10 on one SSD and Ubuntu on another separate SSD.
I spend a lot of time at the PC learning, writing, DJing and Mixing and generally messing about.
I am starting to do some mining in the background - lightweight simple stuff - why not whilst the machine is on anyway?
I want to make this a little more productive and plan to install an upgraded graphics card - probably AMD raedon.
Question is: Can I use the existing Nvidia card for day to day computing as I don't need anything more powerful and at the same time, use the Raedon card as a dedicated mining card? Will this work internally driver/OS wise? Any issues you can see having both installed and running on different workloads/jobs?
Thanks in advance.
