Yeh it seems the lower the resolution the more hampered you are by the cpu. Seems the perfect card for 1440p 144hz ultra and 4k 60hz and aboveCrazy part is just how many people out their will be ordering the 3080-90 card and using 1080p monitor.
I was referring to those who are unaware of the full potential from these cards and those only using 1080p monitors.It's not crazy...it's just the world we live in where people just buy the best because "they can" even if it means the card is under-utilised for it's entire lifespan. these same people will probably buy a new system when the next new GPU series comes along as well.
Same as people who buy a bugatti Veyron and then never take it anywhere where it can go above like 70mph
