Nova display help

I’ve recently purchased the Nova (it’s amazing - I will do a review shortly for anyone interested.)

I have a quick question. I’ve just bought a new monitor with DisplayPort. I see the Nova has both DisplayPort mini and USB-C...My question is which one am I better plugging into? Obviously so I can purchase the appropriate cable.

Mini DP would be better leaving the usb c for data.
