Hello guys,

I'm currently having a bit of issues with the connectivity of my xbox controller and gameplay,
The controller is paired through bluetooth, however when it gets to a distance from the laptop it starts acting up and freezing the game,

Is that a normal behaviour ?
I don't see the system throatling or anything, that's why I find weird.

I might end up buying the dongle to extend the signal and also be able to pair with the 3.5mm jack.

Would this be the only option ?

Hello o/ So after a pretty tough experience with my previous Defience which I ended up selling because of the heating problems, I've decided to re-consider after the Nova was sneakly shown off. I appreciate the space for cooling in this one and hope that it does the job on my intense Doom...

How far are we talking that it’s losing connection? BT has a very small range, about 10 meters max with completely clear path.

Is it something to do with BT range as well? I am also having difficulties with BT though on a different build. It would be interesting to know if our issues are related.

My Bluetooth devices drop out as soon as I move 10cm away from the laptop. Similar issue for you?

Yes I agree and been using these devices as such for as long as I remember, hence the issue.

Just measured and I'm pushing it near 3.5M I guess that's why the connection is dropping, I just find it weird for it to freeze my computer because of it.

I've order anxbox adapter to be able to extend the range.

It was actually needed an xbox extender in the end. Max range with this spec was 3.5 for bluetooth range.

Now it works fine :D

So it was a controller limitation, not Bluetooth card, right?

I was about to ask if you had issues with other Bluetooth devices, as I have the same laptop with the same card and my Bluetooth headphones don't drop or lose quality when I'm walking in my home (around 20m max distance), even with lots of walls in between.
