No sound on new defiance 16"

Hello, I'm on Windows 11 Pro 64-bit using a Defiance 16"

I'm having issues with the Realtek audio driver. When I run the realtek driver installer from the PCSPECIALIST website, the sound comes back after the driver is removed during the first part of installation. But after the driver is reinstalled and the system reboots, the sound is gone again.

The audio device shows as Realtek(R) Audio with device ID DEV_0245. I believe it's one of the newer Realtek codecs, not ALC888 or ALC892.

Basically, the Realtek driver breaks audio, while the default Microsoft driver works 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m looking for:
A working driver for DEV_0245
Or a fix so the driver doesn’t break audio after installation
Or a way to use the Microsoft driver permanently without it getting replaced

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ended up fixing it! As a last resort, I tried this sketchy-looking app from the Microsoft Store with a 2.9 rating-"Driver Booster" (yeah, risky move). Just two clicks, and everything was working perfectly. Uninstalled the app and all its components afterward, and the sound is fine. Looks like the driver from PCSpecialist just wasn’t up to par for some reason.
