New to this of someone could help

Hello im currently running on a budget laptop i bought last year and looking to upgrade. However being new to building laptops i dont understand what components work with what. If someone could help advise me on what works. I have a budget of around £2000 and want something which wont get outdated quickly. I was looking at the 17.3 vyper chassis, it will be mostly used for gaming.

Will you be gaming solely on the laptop or would you be docking into a monitor? If so... which monitor and resolution?

Are there any uses other than gaming in mind? Anything that would use intensive processing?

I will be solely using the laptop, unfortunately i dont have the space for a monitor.
Not really its mostly gaming ill be using it for.

You won't need to spend 2k to get an excellent system. If you wanted to use the extra budget I would go with a 500GB Samsung Evo for the primary drive and a 1TB SX6000 as the secondary. Otherwise....

Unfortunately not. The only upgrades possible are increases to storage and RAM. This is the main downfall with a Laptop and the reason you should always aim high with the specs.

Quick question: Why is the 2666MHz SODIMM DDR4 RAM sticks cheaper than the 2400MHz SODIMM DDR4 sticks?

Just out of curiosity how much extra would it cost to have the RTX 2080 max Q graphics card and would it be worth it?

I don't think it's worthwhile, it's almost £400 more which is insane.
