New pre build arrived today, opted for No OS (need advice)

I got my new pre build today (buzzing) I got windows 11 ready to install via usb method.

I turned my pc on without usb inserted to see what’s what, It seems there’s already windows 11 home edition on it but not activated, I take it this is purely for testing the system and I should clean install anyway?

Thank you, after I’ve done the clean install will I have to configure bios again? Or just check they are upto date? Many thanks for quick reply

You won't need to touch BIOS, leave that as is, as PCS would have configured it correctly.

I noticed there was a newer bio version out but no problemo al leave it how it is, thank you, gonna clean install windows just now!

@B4zookaw sorry to bother you, do I need to update the motherboard drivers? Haven’t touched the bios but curious about the drivers

Any drivers are updated through windows update (optional updates), except GPU drivers which you update directly through Nvidia or through GeForce Experience.

even mother board drivers? So I don’t need to worry about the AMD chipset driver or others on the asus website? On the asus website there’s a 5.11.02.217 driver & when looking at my AMD chipset software version it’s 5.08.02.027 (are these different things or should I update?) many thanks
