I didnt have time to move the pc last night (will try that tonight) but i did use my mobile phone as a hotspot, when doing that my mobile phone was getting speeds of around 160mbps and when i set up the hotspot the pc was getting speeds of 160mbps so that looked to work ok.

That would suggest that your Wifi is working just fine, as is the PC, and that the issue lies with the Router configuration?
yeah i was thinking that, im not clued up on that side of things so wasnt sure why, dont know why my phone and laptop speeds would be good but pc would be slow,

Not to sound like BT... but have you tried switching the router off for 5 minutes and then back on? It works wonders for me at times.

Can you please open an elevated PowerShell session and enter the following three commands....

Get-NetAdapterBinding | Out-File C:\Binding.txt

Get-NetAdapterAdvancedProperty | Out-File C:\Property.txt

Get NetAdapterPowerManagement | Out-File C:power.txt

That will give you three new files in the root of your C:\ drive called Binding.txt, Property.txt and Power.txt, please upload those three files here. That will let us see what adapter settings you have.

Do you have an 802.11ax capable router? Your wireless card is configured (by default probably) to operate in 802.11ax mode, that might not be ideal if your router is only capable of 802.11n. Match the wireless card to the capability of the router.

I don't see anything else in those txt files that leaps out at me.

What is the model number of your router? Is it one that's been provided by your broadband supplier?

Did you try running the test with the PC near the router but connected to wireless? My guess is now that you are too far away from the router for the wireless signal and it's degrading over the distance.

Sorry, I edited soon after posting. I think distance may be your issue.

No I didn't try that, my phone and work laptop both sit right next to the pc and they can pick up 350mbps+ no problem so I'm unsure why the PC wouldn't pick that up?

I would try it, just to rule it out. The more data the better.

If it works.... you know the reason, and can look to mitigate it.

I have crazy inconsistencies with my Virgin 3 hub. I can move my Laptop 10 cm on my desk to the right and lose 50mbs from the speed. So things like distance and what is between you and your router (Like walls etc) effect certain devices differently.

I am thinking about just setting the router to modem mode and pushing the wifi through more capable devices for better range and speed.

Yeah its a Virgin Hub3.0 (VMDG505/TG2492LG-VM)
This is the wireless page from my Hub 3.0 (my wireless is disabled as I use power line wifi sockets around the house). I get about 80% of my wired speed via I'm connected via wifi.

Can you check your settings via [Advanced Settings] > [Wireless] > [Wireless Signal] to see if anything has been changed from default (and also to see if the channel optimisation has been disabled - which is used to find the clearest channel for your wifi signal to avoid interference from other devices).
