Would reccommend changing the 13900 to a kf instead of F,plus you can run everything on a b660 mobo compared to a z690, which is much cheaper, plus get a 360ml cooler for the i9

What’s your budget?
What are you using the PC for?
Are you planning on getting a new monitor, if not you can literally get a GPU that will perform the same on the monitor for less than half the price of a 4090!

This is where I would land you. The AMD 7000X3D chips are coming out in February which should retake the gaming CPU crown, but even with a 4090 you will almost always be GPU bottlenecked at 4K anyway.

Case
CORSAIR iCUE 5000X RGB MID TOWER GAMING CASE Bit roomier than the TD500, to fit in and give sufficient airflow to all your high end components.
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™ i7 16-Core Processor i7-13700K (3.4GHz) 36MB Cache Negligible performance loss moving down to the 13700K, while it will produce less heat and use less power.
Motherboard
ASUS® ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 (LGA1700, USB 3.2, PCIe 5.0) - ARGB Ready Can probably stick with the Tuf here in all honesty, but the STRIX will have slightly better power delivery for the CPU.
Memory (RAM)
32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 16GB) Splashing a little here again, 16GB is fine for almost every gaming title at the moment. However, there are some heavily modded titles, and MSFS that will require more than 16GB of RAM, so it’s really down to you whether you want to buy now, or upgrade it down the line (which is very easy).
Graphics Card
24GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4090 - HDMI, DP
1st M.2 SSD Drive
500GB SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 6900MB/R, 5000MB/W) Given you a bit more storage, with a fast 980 pro for Windows and programs, and a speedy gen 4 drive to store all your games and general files on.
1st M.2 SSD Drive
2TB SOLIDIGM P41+ GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 4125MB/sR, 3325MB/sW)
Power Supply
CORSAIR 1200W HX SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® PLATINUM, ULTRA QUIET Beefy PSU to handle transient spikes and also have headroom for the future. PCIe 5 cards can draw up to 600W so if you want to keep upgrading for the top end you want to make sure your PC can support it.
Power Cable
1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead, 1.0mm Core)
Processor Cooling
Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX RGB Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler You want a premium AIO to handle the high end chips. This will cool your system effectively, quietly, and look great while doing it.
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT

Monitor wise, firstly assuming that you’re looking to game on a standard resolution 16:9 4k 144+hz gaming monitor.

At your entry level, you can grab something like this LG display for £599.
If you want to go high end the Samsung Neo G7 has my vote of confidence. It’s pricier at £1099, but that gets you a QD-LED panel with true HDR, and is arguably one of the best standard resolution displays on the market at the moment.

We love you Ukraine
I would say at this level, you really want to be factoring in true HDR which is HDR 600 as a baseline, but personally I'd say anything under HDR 1000 is a no go.

The Neo G7 is worthy with HDR 1000 (it states 2000, but it's not, it's still very good though, especially for the price)

The other one to watch out for is this LG

Thank you all for your time and knowledge. Think I will invest in a high end monitor first. Here's hoping that doesn't take as long deciding which one , as it did with PC specs. I've probably been looking at getting faster gaming back to front.
Thanks again.
