I made a mistake above and it is comparing a 2GB 960 with a 4GB 980

Ideally I would like to know if a 4GB 960 is close to a 4Gb 980 in terms of real world performance. The price difference is £240 and I am curious about the value for money for the GTX 980 and whether it would be worth spending more money.

Thanks for that Sweeny47. If I read it correctly then the comparison was for the 2GB versions whereas I want to compare two 4GB cards. Does this make any difference?

Performance should be similar whether is 2gb or 4gb.

In terms of real world performance you need to check benchmarks online, the gtx 980 is significantly better.

I would appreciate some input to my question about the wireless card and my BT Home Hub 4 and whether to get the fastest card or something slower if my Home Hub cannot go as fast as the card. I selected the ac1900 1300mbps/5 ghz and 600 mbps/2.4ghz one from the choices but don't know if this is overkill?
