Hello guys my new desktop arrived and it turns on but I can’t get a signal to monitor? Any ideas? (I should add I’ve plugged it into the graphics card like the booklet says)

It might also be as simple as the Monitor is on the wrong output mode. It's easy to make simple mistakes

All seems to be fine, I’ve tried it on my monitor using both hdmi & DP cables and on my tv using a hdmi & nothing.

Are you getting any beeps when you turn on the PC? Is there nothing showing at all?

Have you opened the machine and ensured that nothing has come loose in transit at all.

Take out the graphics card and reseat it back in pushing firmly.

No beeps occur and nothing seems to be loose inside. Literally just getting the no signal screen on my tv and a blank screen on my monitor. Honestly I’m a complete novice when it comes to pcs and not sure if trying to take it out myself is a good idea haha 😂

Can you upload a picture of the back of the pc with all the wires connected?

Sorry about that, back on topic now!

First things first, can you take a photo of the cables that go into the side of the GPU inside the case?

Need to know if it's 2 individual cables, or a splitter connecting to both ports.

Judging by the cable ties it is 2 individual cables
To me it looks like a splitter as I can only see one cable running towards the gpu, looks like they’ve just tied up the splitter portion of it?

Ok, when you have it powered on, are there any lights lit at point 7 in the top right on this diagram? If so, what colours and which ones?

That looks like this section to me, correct me if I’m wrong. Atm only the vga light is lit white. Although earlier the boot light was lit in a green I believe, and I’ve noticed at times the cpu light flash red for a second and then go off again.

It does appear to be primarily GPU related then.

I would try uninstalling the GPU fully and then slotting it back in just as a final check, but it's very possible the card is dead and needs swapping out.

If you're ok doing that (it's very easy), then you have the possibility of RMA'ing just the GPU rather than the whole machine. In that instance, it's very possible PCS will just be able to post you a replacement GPU for next day.

If you have to send the whole thing back, it's a pain and can take a while.

It might not be related but I see you wrote, Monitor and TV. Have you always tried it with both connected at the same time?

Just asking as I had trouble with no signal when I first got mine after connecting it to the TV, was fine just with the monitor. But with both monitor and TV connected everything would turn on but just a black screen on both screens.
Wasn't until I sorted the screen settings out that it finally worked on both screens.

That’s unfortunate if the gpu is dead. Will uninstalling it and reinstalling it void the warranty? Cause obvs I don’t want that however I also don’t want to send the whole build back haha

Yeah unfortunately I’ve tried them both individually on my monitor and tv also tried all ports and different cables but no luck 😩
