New PC, no signal on monitor

Dear all,

I received this PC yesterday, everything looks ok, but no signal on monitor. First it beeps once and sometimes 3 short beeps. VGA light is lit on the motherboard and shortly after boot light is on as well.
I changed PCIe slot, again nothing. I plugged in my GPU (Nvidia) and PC works fine with Nvidia card.
PCS tech said it sounds like GPU fault. He wants me to ship my card back to PCS for replacement.

Does anyone know is it any simple issue or I need to send GPU for replacement?

Some obvious checks to state but just in case:

1. Have you tried a different cable?

2. Turn the monitor on first then the PC.

3. Check ALL items are seated properly, not just the GPU - check memory, hard drives etc all connected properly, check all wiring.

4. Are you definitely plugged into the Graphics card and not the motherboard?

5. have you tried plugging into the motherboard to see if that works (if it has integrated graphics - sorry I'm not that knowledgeable on these, but just offering some general tips).

If you have tried all that already and had a call with PCS, then it is looking like the graphics card might be on its way back to PCS for a replacement.

I tried everything you said. Different DP cable, different hdmi cable, different monitor, nothing. I took GPU out and plugged in couple of time, no difference.
Rewired power supply again nothing. But old GPU work fine on every PCIe slot.

Sounds like it’s a return to PCS for swap then.

Keep us informed

This guy has same issue. I guess something is wrong with new AMD card.

Something strange going on as this should have been picked up in testing...wonder whether there is a component in the GPUs that is prone to failure if it gets moved too much
Seems strange, more than one report of this, but yeah you'd have thought it would be picked up in testing
