@Martinr36 and @alexkeith, download Memtest, make a bootable USB stick (1GB is plenty big enough) with the extracted tool and then boot that USB stick. Memtest will start running. Let it complete all four iterations of the various tests (that will take overnight with 16GB of RAM).

@alexkeith, before you run Memtest try reseating your RAM cards.

Having the same issues as OP with a PC I received very recently (5th Nov): 4 beeps before showing the login screen and no signal until then, but haven't had the screen go black on me during gaming yet. What's the list of steps I should take to fix this? Here are my specs:

One long beep and three short usually indicates a graphics card problem (though it could also indicate a RAM problem depending on which BIOS you have).

Stuff does sometimes move in transit so I'd suggest that you first remove the graphics card and reseat it fully, then remove the RAM sticks and reseat them fully. See whether that helps. Be sure to ground yourself before touching stuff inside the case. I leave my PC plugged in to the wall socket but with the switch off, that way the case is earthed and by touching the case you ground yourself too.

Beeping on boot is a failure of of the POST (Power On Self Test), the different beep codes indicate what failed. That you get beeps indicates there's something amiss with your hardware. Try the reseating first.
