I'm not a big gamer but my current laptop is 8 years old so looking to upgrade. AOE 4 is out later this year so looking foreword to that ,
I used to build PCs but that was about 20 years ago so I'm a little out of my depth with modern tech.

what do you think of the system bellow? something I'm missing? over the top? just looking for a bit of intel until I order?

Also, it would be better to add the 30days dead pixel guarantee, to avoid getting a bad screen. (totally worth the small price IMO)

If you are already familiar with repasting laptops, I would even advise to save up on the "ARCTIC MX-4 EXTREME THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY COMPOUND", and instead buy a tube yourself of the same or better paste, and replace it yourself in a couple or months, if you see thermal issues.

You could also replace the RAM selection to the cheapest option, and buy 3200Hz RAM instead elsewhere, but you need to their JEDEC certificated speed is the actual 3200Hz, that their voltage is 1,2V and with a CL22 or less (CL is a stat about latency). Unfortunately not all vendors put all these details though, so it may be a pain to find the right deal.

I hope this was useful ;) .

Thanks for the advice.
Will definitely add the dead pixel garentee, did not think of it to be fair.

Will look into the Ram and see what cost difference their is

Thanks
