Godlike
Assuming these are still your specs,
You have quite a low wattage PSU, that limits your options a little. Ideal GPU upgrade would probably be a 3060ti or 3070 with your 1440p monitor in mind, but I would ideally want a 750/850+ PSU to run those with.
In terms of other upgrades you could potentially look at; the RAM is very slow at 2400mhz, a 3200mhz kit will be fairly cheap and will boost your performance. Grabbing an m.2 drive to boot windows off will also increase your load speeds substantially. And if you haven’t already ditch Bullguard, even the trial version has been known to cause slowdown and issues in systems.

Ok would the ram and drive upgrades improve gaming performance in terms of fps or would you still advice a gpu upgrade aswell

GPU upgrade would give you the biggest improvement for sure, the RAM will also give better performance and the M.2 SSD is a quality of life improvement for the whole build

I'd go GPU first then get better RAM. M.2 you can pick up very cheap in sales so keep an eye for black Friday deals

Ok thanks also one last thing in regards to the ram should I stick at 16gb or go for for 32 and if 32 is the way to go is it best to have 4 sticks of 8 or 2 at 16gb

As you can tell by the questions I'm not very knowledgable with computers 🤦‍♂️

It depends on what you're doing with the computer, if it's only gaming you'll probably never need more than 16GB. Only exceptions being Microsoft Flight Sim and some very heavily modded games.

More RAM doesn't increase performance but faster RAM does. 16GB of 3200Mhz RAM would be a nice boost, always buy RAM in pairs, so two sticks never one stick of 16GB RAM. So what you want is 2 x 8GB sticks for a total of 16GB

RAM is designed to work in pairs so one stick of RAM will kill the performance in any build just a small FYI
