What monitor are you pairing this system with?

Why the Pro HDD?

For streaming, an i9 may be preferable due to the extra threads. However, these are expensive and can run hot.

You might be better off waiting until the end of the month for AMD to announce Zen 2 at Computex. These may be significantly better options, especially for streaming. Either way, since you probably intend to keep the PC several years you might as well wait a few days (announcement expected 27/28 May...)

I haven't decided what monitor to pair this with yet for my main monitor, I like bigger screens for gaming so if you could reccomend one? For my other work monitor I'm using the LG 34UM69G-B.

I will wait until AMD announce the zen 2 to see what they have as it's a big purchase and I wan't it to last for a long time. No idea about the Pro HDD as it was recommended to me via email. Looking to save cost on things I don't really need but also keep the temperature cool as it can get quite hot in Spain. I also use the computer for work and gaming so it turned on for most of the day.

The Pro HDDs are super expensive and if it's just a drive for mass storage then there's really no point.

What sort of budget do you have for the monitor?

Ok perfect so I can save some money on that then, I think for around 400 euros for a monitor would be okay, I'd like one that's good and going to last for the future. 144hz and bigger than 24 inch if possible.

For this price and with savings on the other components potentially you could get a 1440p 144hz monitor.

But probably best to wait for Zen 2, see what it offers and what it costs, and then balance the build and monitor. But you have a decent budget for a monitor so hopefully can get something that goes well with the PC
