New Gaming PC - Advice Please!

Mainly Flight Sim 2020 some current FPS games and some light video editing. I’ve been pouring over the forums and YouTube for the last couple of weeks trying to figure out what would work for me and also my wallet. Is the below spec (my max budget) overpowered for 27” 1440p 144-165hz (approx €350-400) screen?
Also how would it shape up against 5800X, B550, 3070 Ti….would I be limiting myself with the older AMD tech?

I have a 27” 4K 60hz monitor but I’ve read a lot about that being next to useless for gaming. All help is much appreciated.

Aside from the power which people would suggest to up to 1000W that seems quite solid. I'd run your specs through this site also as it will give let you see if you are able to play most games

I have been messing with builds and have never gone lower than 95% for compatibility so I must be doing something right.

Also I have just noticed you have chose the i7. Maybe the i5 12700k would suffice but I would wait for someone more tech savvy to reply to your thread

Needs some tweaking IMO but it's a fairly solid start. If you can afford the extra outlay I think the below would be bob on. The 4k monitor will be fine for FS2020, but not so much with the FPS games. I would follow your instinct on a good 1440p panel, they may even compliment each other given your video editing work (dual monitors).
