The OP did say they were willing to write off the GPU...however, it looks like they are going with "the case is the problem" solution and returning the system if they are phoning PCS to pick it up (given the GPU didn't come from PCS)

Personally, I don't see it being a case problem or the system tester would have had issues when they put the test GPU in for testing the system...at which point they would have sent it back to the builder to fix
No i don't think it is the case either for exactly the reasons you've mentioned, its either a problem with the GPU, or.........................

Given the OP used a Dremmel on the back of the case, I am not sure how he is going to get on with his warranty!?

I never did that. I only used it on the PLASTIC CASING of the HDMI connector because there wasnt enough room to get it to fit. It was a 90degree angle block and it wouldnt fit past the grill. When sloped it does, thats all. Nothing damaged, nothing near anything PCS. No contact with any metal... etc. I may not be able to figure out the graphics card (despite having set up quite a few and built my own rig at one point...) but I can put a cable in, last time I checked :D It's just a cable guys I don't understand how to convey this, anything PCS has not been touched and the card was off ebay for scalper prices, mentioned already. I have 2 others laying around, same results.

No idea whats going on with the card/case but I'm at a loss tried everything I can personally think of so just going to give them a call tomorrow and see what aid I can get. Thanks for all the input thus far guys.
