Wait hang on... are you lining it up the correct slot on the case? It looks like you still have the shield, on the one in line with the pcie lane?

It would be the two immediately below the lane. The card PCB is the uppermost point aligning with the PCIe slot, then the rest of the card is underneath that.

No idea what you are at mate but something looks very wrong there. Youre going to end up ruining the card +- the main board and youll have no come back on either.

Register the card with the manufacturer and make sure it is real. There is no reason the card shouldn’t fit. I definitely wouldn’t have bent the bracket though.
It seems a legit card, but will try this.

The card isn't in?
No, I did a video with it in, its not making contact anywhere else other than the pcie slot and more pressingly, as seems to be the subject of cntention here, the gps mounting bracket doesn't have enough clearance with the frame. Bt i Literally don't know what t do about that, the connections on the card are fine and wont go anymore and likewise the monitor DisplayPort connection. Only problem is the prongs/mounting bracket, it feels now.

I don't know what else to do. Im willing to write of the graphics card. Should I try and find a budget one in the meantme? I don't know how else to make this one fit theres just no room.

Sorry didn't mean to come across blunt. Just if you damage anything youll end up with no come back from PCS. Are you confident the card is in the slot correctly? Definitely seems like the card is the issue. You could indeed get something like a 710 and see if it works.

I've taken the IO plate (?) at the back so the top edge is definitely not in the way. The card is seated the same as before just without the mounting bracket there. There is no way it couldn't be fitting now assuming the card is legit and there isnt some weird physical space issue. I've tried other cards and they fit the same but veryone here is certain its an issue with the card not fitting. I dont think so but I'm going with what you all say as I don't know for certain.

personally I think the card has been seated correctly the entire time after i moved the mounting bracket, but I'm just going with the majority here as I'm not sure.

still nowhere nearer any fix, none of this 4 pages has worked and nothing has changed. Currently reinstalling windows as per earlier comment. Windows not reinstalling required a USB, so did that but windows again not wanting to install. Picture in google drive. Don't understand how it can;t install as windows is on the usb it booted from??

Thx all

It's definitely not seated correctly, if it was it would fit in the bracket and you'd be able to screw it in.

There is no case or GPU in existence that doesn't fit properly unless it's a fake card or the case has been damaged.

Then I will call PCS to get them to pick it up. Cheers

That case supports it. Buying the cable and attempting it, is better than writing off the GPU right now.
It doesn't look like he's writing off the GPU, he's writing off the PC.

You need a bracket as well to be able to mount the card vertically.

He said “i’m willing to write off the graphics card”

And yes he can bend the bracket back and fix it to the case, as pcie lane should have a connection via the cable and will not be blocked by the case.

i’d be interested to know how much OP paid for this card.

I meant you need a vertical mount bracket to be able to vertically mount a GPU, which the case doesn’t have.

I think the conclusion the OP has come to is that the build is at fault not the GPU
