Your gpu is 100% not seated properly.

Also it looks bent?

Are you plugging it into the correct pcie lane?

When you push the card in, either push from the left or the centre, don’t push in on right as it won’t be mounted properly when it is secured.

Once it is in properly, try to gentle dislodge it without pressing the latch, to make sure it is secure. Then screw it into the case.
The card itself seems fine. The metal frame where the screws attatch is bent upwards... I couldnt get it to even rest in the pcie slot let alone slot in incorrectly as the framework was in the way! It felt the card needed to be taller is the only way I can describe it and since it isnt, then framework bit on the card needed to go upwards to get the rest of the card down.

Yes it is 100% as far am im aware in the correct slot as I spent a small amount of time in the bios , only limited by my own intellectual fear of messing around and breaking it, and I noticed it had 2 and that one of them was the primary one. So it's been always seated there as that slot out of the 2 is also the only one it will fiton. The second one has that heatshield bit (idk, but its in the video) prohibiting the card from fitting there.

I'm not sure how you mean secured in that I couldn't push it in from the right since I bought it as the aforementioned frame bit where you screw it to the case was in the way, stopping the card from going down further into the pcie slot. Before I bent the frame upwards... it was at the same level as the case so couldnt even have been screwed on, bending it upwards is therefore allowing MORE and not less room for the card to actually get seated in the pcie slot, if you can understand what im saying. As you say don't push from the right side I literally cant .

Lastly, as said above, I couldn't screw it into the case when I got it as the bit in the video needed to be bent up. Since I've bought the card on ebay out of desperation for one, Im not sure if there was a (voided now) returns policy so i thought i couldn't return it anyway, hence the bending...

Thanks guys, I'm more confused than when I started but I feel like Im learning ;)

Send the card back mate...immediately.

Should not be bent at all, not a good sign whatsoever.

Oh dear.... it looks like you've bent the GPU mounting bracket? Is that something you did or did it come like that? If it came like that, you need to send it back immediately, it's damaged. If you did it then I'm afraid you're warranty is gone and we're a bit stuck.

The prongs aren't too long, they have to slide between the motherboard and the case, they'll just slide right in when it's inline correctly.

My guess is you're inserting it into the slot and then trying to angle it correctly. It's need to be angled correctly and then slid gently back into the slot.

Also which PCIe slot are you plugging it into?

It's 100% not installed correctly.

Could you just take a photo of the internals so we can see the full layout?

Im genuinely sorry I checked but couldn't find a timely description... what part is the drive cage of the graphics card?

What do you mean by clearance? There was no way near enough clearance on the graphics card connector that screws onto the frame to secure it. It needed to be higher to even fit inside so i raised it. See above ebay no return concerns as part of the reason for this choice.

Would be a strange one, but maybe the gpu bracket is meant to go on the inside of the case bracket, if you bend it back to its proper position and slide it into the slot, from left to right, it may potentially fit like that (although i have never seen it like that... ever).

No, that's not how you install a GPU.

There is only one way to install a GPU on any build, it's literally the same no matter what motherboard or case you have.

The prongs aren't in properly behind the motherboard so it won't seat properly.

Either that or it's a fake card and none of the measurements are correct.

This is how the prongs slot between the wall of the case and the motherboard:

I bent it and not the card afaik just the mounting bracket on the outside.

I did the GPU mounting bracket, believing there was no replacement should i have an issue, i mention it below about ebay.

My PCS warranty even though the card isn't from them? I've not touched anything PCS, Inly the cards mounting bracket or whatever its called, I bent it upwards as the card wouldnt go anywhere near the pcie slot without the clearance.

Yes gpu mpunting bracket, the bit where the card frame fits to the case.

Yes, I've been lining up the base of the card with the pcie slots and securing it from there rather than thinking about the prongs when fitting it. The prongs fit as long as you can reach the connectors from the exterior. The issue is it feels like they are getting stuck and/or there isnt enough room underneath, the other fits perfectly into the slot but it feels like there might be something from physically letting the card sit where it is intended.

I will try the windows reinstall tomorrow and if that doesnt happen to work I will try returning on ebay but pretty obvious how that will go. I didnt think I could get a return on such an item. thats half the reason i took matters into my own hands rather than get a replacment, as I didnt think there were any for this card on ebay given the cryptocurrency situation...

There are 2 slots, its in the primary one.

Im not sure what you mean, there are photos and videos on the onedrive i linked a few times, do you want something more specific?

Thanks guys

Just a photo of the internal of the case, not close ups, something so we can see the full internal layout. Obviously with the side off.

And I wouldn't bother with the windows reinstall until the card is fitted properly as I'm sure this is where all your problems are stemming from

Until the card is installed correctly, I wouldn't power on the PC at all, as you're very likely to cause a power surge and fry something.

They arent uploading to my googledrive for some reason Wil try get them up before I fall asleep but not certain.

Ok hopefully it is a physical issue with the card you guys can help me with. I'm clearly not great at this but I have fitted 4 or 5 separate graphics cards in my life and never had anything near this. They slot into the pcie slot, gently press till pop, voila. This seems like, to me at least, there wasnt enough room to even get it seated loosely, let alone fitted properly. Im trying to say im not an expert but ive fitted a few cards and this is in a different league. I don't mind as much about the card losing warranty and being broken but i havnt touched and never intende to touch the PCW product, I take it this invalidates the warranty there too, or no?

Register the card with the manufacturer and make sure it is real. There is no reason the card shouldn’t fit. I definitely wouldn’t have bent the bracket though.
