It nets you better VRM capacity. It won't offer anything for the 3600XT but if you were opting for a high end CPU next it would be worthwhile.
I would pay for it if it were me, I wouldn't be dropping anything else to cover it though.
Honestly same for me but that might be a blessing in disguise, as im sure youre even happier with ur build nowCheers Scott. For the sake of £33 I think it's a no brainer. The problem with waiting on the build date to arrive is all the upgrades. I'm about £150 over budget. Wednesday can't come quick enough!!
I don't think you can necessarily assume that something must have happened. I would think that they only have a limited number of test positions and once your PC moves out of build it will show as 'testing'. That might not mean it's being tested immediately it left build. There might be a queue, especially if one or two others needed retesting or more extensive testing. And even if something was found you'll be glad that PCS caught it before you did.Still in testing which means over the 40hr mark...so something must have happened.
I paid for sat delivery, will try calling them when they open to see whats happening, I hope its not going to delay it further... I got back to work on wed next week I hoped to be able to sit down and get it all set up before then and try it out.
Any luck and its sorted and will go to awaiting dispatch this morning.
