What do you intend to use PC for abs what monitor will you be using? Need to ensure spec aligns with intended use.

One thing I noticed is you have a huge amount of RAM, but slow ram at that. So be interested to hear your rational for that?

Also when I was choosing my specs it only gave me the options for RAM up to 3600MHZ 32GB and I need 64gb and could only get it in 3200mhz.

You could always just get the system with 32GB at 3600MHZ and upgrade it to 64GB yourself once it arrives. Not sure why they don’t offer 64GB as an option for 3600, might be worth calling them to ask if they could do it as a special request.

64GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (4 x 16GB) One option here is to spec out 1 stick of 2400mhz (ie cheapest RAM possible) and then ordering your own kit. PCS won't do 4x16GB 3600mhz because they've experienced stability issues while testing, but you can order your own RAM and install it without voiding the warranty. The RAM you buy yourself won't be covered by PCS warranty though.

Monitor wise most of us would recommend the Samsung G9 if looking for an Ultrawide display to go with a 3090.

Heya, you have an excellent build specced up by @MrWilson above, is there any reason you're not going with it?

The couple comments I'd make

-With the 12900K being such a thermal CPU already, I'm not sure I'd especially want to overclock it, especially considering very little performance is left in CPU's these days so you generally don't gain too much from an OC

-Any reason for DDR5? In most cases at the moment DDR5 performs pretty much the same as DDR4 for considerably more money.

-I assume the 3090 will be used for rendering? If not, the 3080 will do plenty as a gaming GPU

-For your SSD layout, I'd recommend a 500GB boot SSD then a slower (but still super fast) Gen 3 drive for everything else. My go to layout would be a 500GB 980 and 2TB Intel. If you wanted to go all out you could go for a 500GB 530 and 2TB 520? (you want the boot SSD to be the fastest drive in the system)

This is more of a future proof build. On the website you cannot select DDR5 without having the overlocked intel option, I don’t know why. And they give you the option to remove the overclock and have the cpu as standard on your build. You can switch between the both. I do rendering aswell hence the 3090. And I need that sort of memory due to the work I do. Im pretty sure the firecuda 530 is the fastest drive on the market at the moment. And they’re both gen 4 not gen 3

Just an observation, one I've made many time. There is no such thing as 'future proof' in computers there is merely forward compatibility. No matter what you get, in six months time something bigger, better and faster will be here. "There's never a good time to buy a computer or a car".
