For a 1440p 144hz monitor, a VA good panel will monitor will be around £300. The Samsung G5 and AOC CQ27G2U (or the flat version of the AOC Q27G2U) are both good options. There's also another recommendation for a MSI monitor on the Monitor Recommendations thread here.

IPS panels will be more expensive. I know Moderator Rakk got a ASUS TUF 1440P 144hz (or maybe 165hz) IPS monitor recently for £450, what the exact model is, I'm unsure. If IPS is something you're interested in we could could always ask Rakk what they think of it.
Rakk went for the ASUS VG27AQ. It’s a really good monitor for its price point, ticks a lot of boxes and has good reviews from the members who own one.

Similarly we have many happy adopters of the Samsung G5 as a more entry level curved display. At £300 it is fantastic value, whereas the £450 ASUS is a bit more of a luxurious option, but well worth it if you can afford it.

So I've ordered a PC build with a Corsair 5000D Airflow case and a 280mm AIO cooler (Corsair H115i Cappelix)

When I go to amend my order to include an additional 3x Corsair LL120 fans (intended for the front of the PC case) I get the message:

"The computer case you have selected can support up to 5 additional fan(s) and the processor cooler that you have selected will use 3 fan slots. Therefore the case can only support a further 2 additional fan(s). You have currently selected 3 additional case fan(s). Please reduce the quantity you have selected."

Could I send PCS a message with my order number asking them to remove the default fan off the front of the case and instead replace it with 3 of the Corsair LL120 fans, or is this something I'd have to install myself?

If you’re looking to replace fans straight away, then you’ve got the wrong case, just up it to the 500D or 5000x

Okay great.

Is the 5000x fundamentally the same case with the exception of the glass panel at the front?
Yes and No. 5000D aiflow comes with 2 non-RGB fans. While both, 500D SE and 5000X comes with RGB fans (and more of them, not just 2).
