The 5600X is worth the extra up front cost if you can manage to squeeze out the cash. It's a massive upgrade from the 3600X and wont need changed any time in the near future

You'll comfortably get 5-6 years out of a 5600X

Hello all,

I require some help. I have never had a PC but have now decided that it’s the time to get one. I’ve built one here with the help of a friend, so I’d like some more insight.

I will be using the PC to play Warzone and general browsing only. My budget is as shows, around the £1000 mark but nothing beyond £1100.

I know this isn’t the ideal budget however I would look to upgrade a few things in the future as time goes on.

What’s the monitor you’re going to be pairing this up with? For this price we can only put together so much for you, but should be able to get something decent with an upgrade path for the future :) done a good job so far though!

Power supply will severely limit your future upgrades you would at least want a 750rmx preferably a 850rmx I see these threads have been combined the original advice offerd to you before is still the best

The budget is maximum 1200. I know it isn’t ideal but I want a skeleton that I can improve on as time goes on. The card I plan to use is the 6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1660 SUPER - HDMI, DP - GeForce GTX VR Ready!

It was a solid and admirable first effort mate, I've changed the case and went for a faster M.2 SSD but other than that I can't really make much improvements without blowing the budget

if you could stretch to £1264 the 2060 would probably do you better, other than that it looks pretty good, maybe upgrade storage options at a later date when funds allow
