Do you mean the MSI monitor you had in the original build? It's a really poor choice and would be a waste of money overall.

You want he 980 Pro as your smaller boot drive mate, the faster drive should be your OS drive then you can get the 970 as your secondary. I'd honestly probably just get one of the cheaper PCS M.2's instead though the speed difference is minimal I guess it depends on the price

But 980 Pro as the boot drive would be the best choice

Good picks otherwise though
Would this be better?
1st M.2 SSD Drive
500GB SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 6900MB/R, 5000MB/W)
2nd M.2 SSD Drive
1TB SEAGATE FIRECUDA 530 GEN 4 PCIe NVMe (up to 7300MB/R, 6000MB/W)
1st Storage Drive
1TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-III 3.5" HDD, 6GB/s, 7200RPM, 64MB CACHE

Yeah I think those two M.2's in that configuration is the fastest option that PCS offer so good call

As for the monitor it's a great shout for that GPU

When you order it, make sure they put the OS on the 980 pro (being the smaller drive) as the general rule is the OS goes on the fastest drive, which in this case is the 1TB 530
