My quick google search always leaves a moron3070 isn’t overkill if you’re going to play Cyberpunk at 1440p. Not sure where people get these fps’s from, but i get 130fps on cyberpunk at 1080p on lowest settings lol and i’m using a 3070.
I’d say the 6700XT is the best value for money at the moment though.
I was thinking my 3070 is broken or something 🤣. Seen people claiming 200fps and all sorts 🤣My quick google search always leaves a moronNo probs, I've been to Vision Express today - should get my new glasses in 2 weeks.
Okay now I feel more inclined to go for the 3070, mainly because I plan to have this PC for the next 3ish years so it'll hopefully keep up till then and I don't mind paying a bit extra for it. The only problem I have going for AMD GPUs is that they don't yet have an equivalent to NVIDIA's DLSS, and though it's expected for them to bring something out before the end of the year there's no guarantee it'll match it so for that I'm leaning more toward the 3070.3070 isn’t overkill if you’re going to play Cyberpunk at 1440p. It all depends on how much you intend to use Ray tracingOkay now I feel more inclined to go for the 3070, mainly because I plan to have this PC for the next 3ish years so it'll hopefully keep up till then and I don't mind paying a bit extra for it. I'd like to use it on cyberpunk as long as my fps doesn't take a massive hit, but apart from that not many games I plan on playing have ray tracing. So for that do you think I'd be better suited with the 6700XT?It all depends on how much you intend to use Ray tracing

It is down to you, the 6700XT is currently significantly cheaper and very similar performance. I don’t use RTX so if it was me, i’d go 6700XT and in fact, i have ordered one and hope to test it against my 3070 and see the results for myself (anyone worried, the spare will go to a family member 😆).I'd like to use it on cyberpunk as long as my fps doesn't take a massive hit, but apart from that not many games I plan on playing have ray tracing. Okay well thanks for the advice, I think I'll have a look into the 6700XT before deciding for sure. Best of luck with your build, and you have one lucky family memberIt is down to you, the 6700XT is currently significantly cheaper and very similar performance.
