Need a new power supply for Optimus Series: 17.3

Hello

I bought a laptop for my friends son, and he has managed to damage the lead... apparently the bit that plugs into the latop had frayed.

I believe this is the poweradapter part?

I know most laptops have different sized plugs, so I have no idea what to get to replace it. Unfortunately I dont have access to it to see exactly.

Can anyone advise me on what I need to buy?

If you just go to the upgrades section you can order a legitimate replacement.

I wouldn't suggest getting a cheapy aftermarket one, always get an official.

OK... I was looking through previous forum postings, and someone said that their replacement cables had a pin that was too short.

First of all, I must say I have no issues at all with the laptop so far and its been brilliant - yes I know I still have to write a balanced review for you all - Im just a little bogged under and by the time I finish in the day, I just want to build or shoot things or fly...umm ok crash a plane...
